Over a dozen wrecks since rail line launchedPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- Since Phoenix's Metro light-rail line launched in in December, there have been 13 crashes involving trains and passenger vehicles.
So far, Metro is averaging a crash almost every six days.
Metro operators blame inattention and confusion on the part of drivers for leading to accidents involving cars and light-rail trains.
Critics of light-rail say signs at intersections are too confusing for motorists.
