Cardinals sign Spach and release CelestinPosted: Updated:
TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) -- The Arizona Cardinals have signed tight end Stephen Spach to a one-year contract and released safety Oliver Celestin.
The 6-foot-4, 250-pound Spach appeared in the first two games this season for the New England Patriots as a reserve before being released on Sept. 15. Terms of Spach's deal were not released.
Celestin, a five-year NFL veteran from Texas Southern University, played in two games for Arizona this season.
The Cardinals also released wide receiver Onrea Jones from the practice squad.
