TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) -- Defensive end Bertrand Berry has agreed to a one-year contract with the Arizona Cardinals.

Terms were not disclosed.

Berry rejoins the Cardinals after playing 14 regular-season games and getting a team-high five sacks to go along with 31 tackles, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery in 2008.

Berry played all four of the Cardinals post-season games. He started three of them and had two sacks and a fumble recovery.

He originally joined the Cardinals as an unrestricted free agent in 2004 from Denver.

Berry was selected to the Pro Bowl in his first season in Arizona after leading the NFC with a career-high 14 1/2 sacks. He had six sacks in the next two seasons before both seasons were cut short because of injuries.
