PHOENIX - The following is a press release from the Phoenix Police Department:

The following armed robbery occurred at 3:54 P.M. on 5-31-08.Because of the unusual disguised clothing worn by the suspects, the one extremely clear suspect photo, and the danger of potential further violent crimes being committed by these suspects, we are asking you to show the public the attached photos.Anyone with information should be asked to call 911 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.

The two suspects pictured in the attached photos robbed the convenience store at 309 E. Osborn Rd. on May 31, just before 4 P.M.As you can tell from the photos, one wore a tee shirt that had "FBI" lettered on the front of the shirt. The other wore a tan long sleeve law enforcement uniform.Suspect 2 was armed with a sawed off shotgun and suspect 1 was armed with a handgun. The suspects were last seen leaving the store westbound on foot.

Besides being armed and dangerous, the fact the suspects are willing to impersonate law enforcement officers coupled with their agitated manner during the armed robbery, makes them of additional concern to law enforcement for the safety of the public.

Again, if anyone recognizes these suspects they should call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS, 480-TESTIGO (Spanish). There is a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of these suspects.

If anyone recognizes the suspects and knows where they are or sees them out and about dressed in this manner, they should call 911 immediately and not approach the suspects.
