QUEEN CREEK -- A motorcyclist has died after a T-bone wreck in which he was thrown over the car and onto the pavement.

Rural Metro fire crews responded to a serious motorcycle accident at the intersection of Gantzel and Combs road in Queen Creek Friday evening.

Fire spokesman Mark Scichocki says a 52 year old man crashed his motorcycle into the side of a car. Fire fighters who were in the area returning from a near drowning call began CPR on the victim who was first listed in very critical condition.

He was taken by air to Scottsdale Osborn where he died.
