Phoenix police Sgt. Andy Hill said the baby was taken to a hospital where doctors determined that she has acute brain injury due to lack of oxygen.
She is listed in critical condition.
According to investigators, family members told them the baby was sick this weekend and waited until Monday to call for help.
Investigators served a search warrant at the home Monday night, however, there are no criminal charges at this time. The investigation is continuing.
