Light rail testing expands to entire routePosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- Two months after its maiden voyage in downtown Phoenix, the Metro Light Rail is expanding testing to the majority of the line, which means those driving along the route need to keep their eyes open.
Trains will be seen from Mesa through downtown Phoenix to the intersection of Central Avenue and McDowell Road.
Drivers could see some possible traffic delays. They'll also need to pay close attention to the news traffic lights and rules.
The trains will run both day and night.
The Valley's 20-mile Light Rail line is slated to open Dec. 27.
