Cardinals downplay importance of 2-0 startPosted: Updated:
TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) -- The Arizona Cardinals are 2-0 for the first time in 17 years. But two of their players are downplaying it.
Running back Edgerrin James says the team needs to keep doing it.
Kurt Warner scoffed at being overly impressed by the fast start saying it almost makes him laugh.
Warner says he hopes the team has the mindset of this is where they're supposed to be.
A true test will come Sunday when Arizona meets Washington.
Coach Ken Whisenhunt says the Cardinals were awful in games in the East last year, referring to losses at Washington, Tampa Bay and Baltimore.
