Spring Valley man arrested for sexual abuse of minorsPosted: Updated:
SPRING VALLEY, Ariz. -- A man from Spring Valley, Ariz., was arrested Friday after a sex crimes investigation.
Yavapai County Sheriff's Office detectives spoke with three female victims who reported incidents of multiple sexual abuse and identified Jose Munoz-Posadas, 35, as the suspect.
According to the sheriff's office, Munoz-Posadas knew the victims but was not related to them.
YCSO spokesman Dwight D'Evelyn said two of the victims are now in their late teens, while the other victim is still a pre-teen. With the two older victims, the abuse began approximately eight years ago and the younger victim had been abused over the past six years.
Munoz-Posadas has been charged with 41 counts involving molestation of a child, sexual conduct with a minor, sexual abuse and continuous sexual abuse of a child.
He is being held without bond.
