Diamondbacks open road trip

CINCINNATI (AP) -- Maybe the Diamondbacks will play better in their 6-game road trip that opens in Cincinnati today.

Arizona is coming off a 2-4 home stand and has dropped seven of their last nine. They're in last place in the National League West and have the second-worst record in the major leagues.

The D-backs plan to start ace Dan Haren against the Reds, who holds a 6-5 record and 2.25 ERA. He'll face Cincinnati's Bronson Arroyo, who's 8-5 with a 5.54 ERA.

After the series in Cincinnati, the Diamondbacks go to Denver for a three-game set with the Colorado Rockies.
