FLAGSTAFF - The following is a press release from the Coconino County Sheriff's Office:
Coconino County Sheriff's Detectives are asking anyone who may have information regarding the hit and run collision that claimed the life of 37 year old Curtis Kenneth to call the Sheriff's Office at (928) 774-4523 or 1-800-338-7888.
Individuals who may have seen a dark blue Dodge Dakota four door pickup truck on Highway 89A between the Oak Creek Canyon Over Look and Flagstaff on Monday February 2, 2009 between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. may possess information that is very important to this investigation.Individuals who were at the scene or possibly assisted the victim are asked to call even if they have already spoken with an emergency responder at the scene.
Detectives would also like to speak with anyone who has information regarding the identity of a potential witness described as a white male, 5' 5" to 6' in height, weighing approx. 150 to 200 lbs., with dark hair, last seen driving a mid to small size pick-up-truck silver in color.
It is believed this may be the Good Samaritan who initially pulled the victim from the roadway.It is possible this individual spoke to one of the emergency responders at the scene; however detectives would like to identify him and speak with him.
