Rodent once again knocks out power in Tucson

TUCSON -- A rodent has once again knocked out power to Tucson's Midvale Park neighborhood.

Tucson Electric Power said the rodent chewed through wires and that led to a loss of power for 7,600 customers.

TEP said all residents have been shifted to other power sources.

Back on July 28, the same number of customers were without power when a rodent crawled into a transformer and damaged equipment.
