UPDATE: The County Attorney announced today a direct complaint has been filed against Anthony Pink, 18, on two counts of aggravated assault for the alleged road rage incident on January 21.

Fitzgerald is accused of one count of hindering prosecution in 1st degree, a class five felony.

UPDATE: Tempe police arrest two suspects in road rage shooting in a shopping center.

Anthony Q. Pink, 18, of Chandler was booked on two counts of aggravated assault with a firearm and one count of unlawful discharge of a firearm.

His girlfriend Moniqueka Fitzgerald, 19, of Tempe, was booked on one count of aggravated assault with a firearm.

Investigators discovered Pink show a 26-year-old male twice after engaging in a verbal argument.

Pink then chased the driver of the victim through the strip mall firing three shots at him.

Fitzgerald was driving the vehicle Pink fled in.

The victim is expected to make a full recovery.

ORIGINAL: TEMPE -- Police are investigating a shooting at a Tempe shopping center.

The shopping center is near the intersection of Elliot and Hardy.

Police closed off the entire shopping center's parking lot for their investigation to make sure all witness accounts were taken.

A 26 year old man was shot in the parking lot and transported to the hospital. He is now in stable condition.

According to police, an arguement between people in 2 different cars occured in the parking lot.

The passenger in one vehicle got out of their car and shot the passenger in the other car.

The victim tried to run away but collapsed in the parking lot.

The driver of the victim's car ran into a nearby store and was followed by the shooting suspect, but the suspect eventually got back into their car and drove away.

The suspect vehicle is described as a red or burgundy Ford Contour, a 4-door sedan.

Police are also checking for surveillance video that may have caught the altercation on tape.
