Police looking for runaway teen with medical conditionPosted: Updated:
SCOTTSDALE - Police are looking for a missing teenaged girl who is considered a runaway at this point.
Fourteen-year-old Julianne Bemis left her house in the 28000 block of N. 59th Place just after 2 p.m. on Wednesday. She was reportedly wearing a green shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes. She is described as having long brown hair.
Police tell 3TV Julianne suffers from seizures when she does not take her medication. It is unclear when she last took her medication and police have reason to believe she may not have it with her.
The missing teen is on foot and may have gone towards the desert to the east of her home.
A Phoenix police chopper is searching the area and Scottsdale police continue to investigate this case.
