UPDATE: Suspect identified in shooting that left 2 women dead

PHOENIX - Police officers are looking for a suspect they believe is the shooter and a person of interest linked to a deadly shooting at a gas station.

Officers need help locating 21-year-old Elton Jardines, considered a suspect, and a person of interest identified as 21-year-old Victor Navarrete.

Police say the public should consider these individuals armed and dangerous.

Two women, ages 26 and 30, were killed and two others, both 29, were injured at the QuikTrip gas station near 27th and Northern avenues just before 2 a.m. Sunday.

According to Phoenix police Detective James Holmes, one of the women reportedly started fighting with a woman in an SUV with two men. A man got out and started shooting a semi-automatic handgun.

Holmes said one of the victims died at the scene and another died at a Valley hospital. A third victim was taken into surgery with critical injuries and a fourth victim was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries.

Police say the shootings could be gang-related. The suspect's vehicle has been located since the shooting and the female investigative lead who was in the car with the two men has beeen located. It is still unclear if she will be facing any charges.
