PHOENIX (AP) -- The Arizona Diamondbacks have announced their minor league call ups after the conclusion of the Triple A Pacific Coast League season.
Diamondbacks general manager Josh Byrnes announced the team has recalled catcher Robby Hammock from Tucson. He was expected to join Arizona Monday.
The club was also expected to recall right-handed pitchers Billy Buckner and Leo Rosales, left-handed pitcher Doug Slaten, infielders Jamie D'Antona and Josh Whitesell and outfielder Alex Romero from Tucson on Sept. 2 following the completion of the Sidewinders' season.
Hammock saw action in 16 games for Arizona this season, batting .171 (7-for-41) with four runs scored, a double and two RBI.
He played in 62 games for the Sidewinders, batting .240 (52-for-217) with 29 runs scored, six doubles, two triples, five home runs and 27 RBI.
