Police discover body of hispanic male

Police looking to identify body

PHOENIX - The following is a press release from the Phoenix Police Department:

This morning at about 8:20am we responded to a body found in the area of I-17 and Dixeleta. It is a Hispanic male who looks to be about 40 years old. He was about 100 yards east of I-17 on Dixeleta. It appears that he had been deceased for 30-90 days. For that reason we do not know the cause of death and will have to wait for an autopsy.

Investigators would like to put out the description in an effort to locate friends or family members. We have not been able to confirm his identity. He has dark brown hair and a mustache. He was wearing black work boots, black workout type pants with an elastic waist and a pullover shirt. He had a recent surgery on the left side of his head that was still in the healing stages at the time of his death.
