UPDATE: Missing mentally challenged teen found in Phoenix

The following is a press release from the Glendale Police Department:

PHOENIX -- A missing Glendale mentally challenge 16 year old male, Marcos Ramos Jr., was found by Phoenix Police Department on Sunday morning 2/1/2009. Phoenix Police officers found him in the area of 37th Avenue and Camelback in good condition but disoriented. Ramos was taken to the hospital for observation and was released to CPS custody. After being placed in a group home his true identity was discovered and it was learned that Ramos was reported missing from his home in Glendale. Glendale Police were contacted and returned him safely to his family.

GLENDALE -- The Glendale Police Department needs your help in locating a 16 year old male named Marcos Ramos Jr. who has mental disabilities. Marcos was last seen walking away from his special education school located at 7600 N. 43rd Avenue on Wednesday 01/28/09 at approximately 11:30 am.

Marcos Ramos Jr. is a Hispanic male who is 5'9" in height and weighs 120 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a black shirt, red sweater, black shorts, white socks, and black "Croc" shoes. Attached is a photo of Marcos.

It is unknown where Marcos might have walked to as he only knows the area of his home, which is located near 67th Ave. and Bethany Home Rd. Marcos was having problems at his school on the day he was last seen.
