FLAGSTAFF - A Flagstaff man is behind bars after allegedly plotting to bomb cars belonging to his former co-workers.

Police started investigating 26-year-old Daniel Rhoton in late November after he reportedly told his roommate he wanted to get revenge on his former co-workers.

Rhoton apparently planned the plot after he was fired from a Flagstaff wind turbine manufacturer. His roommate reported the threat to police.

Investigators served a search warrant on Rhoton's apartment where they found materials commonly used to make homemade explosive devices.

According to police, Rhoton said he was going to blow up the cars of four former co-workers and identified them all by name.
