The following is a press release from the Bullhead City Police Department:
BULLHEAD CITY -- The Bullhead City Police Department is investigating a home invasion that occurred on Thursday, February 19th in the 2100 block of Del Rey Drive, where three teenagers were threatened at gunpoint.
At approximately 3:00 p.m., the door bell rang and an 18-year-old male victim opened the door because he was expecting a friend. Two men, armed with a hand gun, pruning sheers and stun gun, pushed the boy backward and demanded he, his 17-year-old girlfriend and his 21-year-old brother, lead them to "the drugs" and "the safe." At one point, one of the men threatened to cut off the boy's fingers with pruning sheers. Police believe the suspects entered the wrong residence as there were no drugs or safe inside the house.
The three victims were able to run out the back door and call 9-1-1 from a nearby friend's home. The suspects fled shortly after empty handed.
One of the suspects is described as a white male adult, thin build, very tall (between 6'4" -- 6'5") and was wearing a white baseball cap. The other suspect is described as a white male adult, thin build, approximately 5'10." Both men were wearing jeans, gloves and tan nylon stockings over their face.
