Police track down, arrest two suspects involved in barricade

BUCKEYE - The following is a press release from the Buckeye Police Department:

On 1/5/09, at about 2:00 p.m., The Buckeye Police Department was called to Duncan and Sons Trucking on west Hwy 85.A former employee was at the Duncan complex creating a disturbance.When officers arrived at the scene, the former employee was observed jumping over a fence and going into the yard of the residence at 23910 W. Hwy 85.A perimeter was established around the residence and a search for the suspect was conducted.

During the search, officers contacted two residents.Both admitted that there were two other subjects in the house.After several minutes of making announcements from outside the residence, Bobby Reams exited the residence and was taken into custody for outstanding felony warrants.

After multiple negotiation attempts failed to persuade Stanley Hendrick to exit the residence, the Buckeye SWAT team entered the residence and took him into custody for an outstanding warrant from Maricopa County.

A full search of the residence and property failed to locate the initial suspect from Duncan and Sons.

Both Hendrick and Reams were transported to and booked into the Maricopa County Jail for warrants.
