Despite doubt, Cards fans planned for Super Bowl

PHOENIX (AP) -- Not all die-hard Arizona Cardinals fans heading to Florida this week plan to actually attend Sunday's Super Bowl game.

They're like Darryl Bradley. For Bradley -- who lives in Chandler -- being in the middle of Super Bowl madness will be enough.

Despite seeing airfares to Tampa climb, he reserved seats for him, his wife and daughter for a total of $1,700.

But the longtime Cardinals season ticket-holder doesn't have Super Bowl tickets and doesn't anticipate having the money to buy tickets at the last minute. So, he and his family will return from Tampa to Phoenix on Sunday morning -- in time to watch the game at home.

Bradley says strolling through the NFL Experience and other pre-game activities will give them plenty to feast on.

Kickoff for the Super Bowl matchup between the Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers will be 4:15 p.m. Sunday.
