Dank has strong outing, White Sox beat D-backs 9-6

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- Arizona starter Doug Davis allowed three runs and seven hits while striking out two in 4 2-3 innings yesterday as Arizona lost to the White Sox 9-6. Chicago's John Danks allowed three runs and six hits while striking out five in 5 2-3 innings.

Danks gave up a two-run homer to Miguel Montero and a run-scoring single to Chris Young in the fifth before being taken out.
