Minor wreck on light rail in Phoenix briefly delayed a.m. trafficPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- A minor accident involving a sedan and a Metro light rail train left the car's driver with minor injuries and briefly delayed eastbound trains Friday morning.
The accident at Central Avenue and Palm Lane happened at about 7:50 a.m. There were no apparent injuries to the train's driver or passengers, and the train resumed its trip toward downtown Phoenix after about 25 minutes.
The Dodge Caliber was stuck broadside on the driver's door. The driver got out and appeared to have only minor cuts.
