Plane makes rough landing at the Cottonwood AirportPosted: Updated:
COTTONWOOD - A Federal Aviation Administration spokesman says the pilot of a small plane that made an emergency landing in a field north of the airport in Cottonwood on Wednesday
morning is OK.
FAA spokesman Ian Gregor says the pilot of the single-engine homebuilt Sonex airplane reported engine trouble and landed in afield at about 10:30 a.m. He wasn't hurt, but the aircraft had damage to the left wing and propellor. No one else was on board.
