PEORIA -- The traffic signals at Loop 101 and Thunderbird Road in Peoria are not functioning due to construction crews cutting a line.
The lights are expected to be until approximately 2 p.m., according to the Peoria Police Department.
Traffic will be controlled by portable stop signs once they arrive.
The Peoria Police Department recommends that drivers use an alternate, such as Bell Road or Peoria Avenue, to get east and west until the traffic signals become operational again.
