UPDATE: Police seek possible suspect in strip club shooting

PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Police Department and Silent Witness are asking for the public's help to identify a possible suspect in a murder at a West Phoenix strip club.

Leonard Harris, 37, was shot and killed while at Teasers strip club Dec. 19.

A man was videotaped while in front of the business and investigators believe he may be responsible.

Police were called out to Teasers near 33rd and Grand avenues at about 2 a.m., to deal with an altercation involving several people. There were also reports of gunshots in the area.

When police arrived on the scene, they found one man who had been shot in the head and neck area, said Lt. James Burgett of the Phoenix Police Department. That man died on the scene.

Officers also located a second man who had been wounded, said Officer Luis Samudio of the Phoenix Police Department.

The second man's injuries were not life threatening. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.

Investigators don't have much information about the suspect or suspects other than that he or they fled the scene in a dark colored SUV.

Police are not releasing the names of the victims at this time.

Police restricted traffic between Osborn and Indian Schools roads and 33rd and Grand avenues during their investigation.
