Marijuana found inside tractor-trailer full of Jenny Craig food

UNCUT: DPS discusses pot bust

NEW RIVER -- On Feb. 20, 2009 at approximately 4:30 a.m, an Arizona Department of Public Safety Officer assigned to the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Bureau stopped a semi tractor trailer rig for an equipment violation on the northbound lanes of Interstate 17 at milepost 222 (near New River). A search was conducted an approximately 1,000 pounds of marijuana was discovered inside the trailer mixed in with the legitimate load of frozen food products.

The vehicle is owned by M & G Enterprises in East Hartford, Conn. The driver was making a run from Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. to Westborough, Mass.
