Customs finds counterfeit toys at San LuisPosted: Updated:
SAN LUIS, Ariz. -- U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials say inspectors have seized 125,000 counterfeit toys in recent weeks at the Port of Entry in San Luis.
Inspectors began targeting shipments coming into or leaving the U.S. on Oct. 1. During a five-week span, they found 14 trucks filled with counterfeit toys.
Among the toys were items that looked like popular brand-name toys like Barbie, Belinda, and Bratz dolls.
The toys will be held until owners of the real trademarks decide what should be done with them.
