EL MIRAGE -- At least two suspects are in custody and nearly a dozen rifles have been seized after a big weapons bust in the West Valley.

19-year-olds admitted using weapons for intimidation

According to the Department of Public Safety, officers from three agencies raided a house in El Mirage Monday night.

They discovered 10 AK-47 assault rifles, more than a dozen bayonets, ammunition, marijuana and cash.

Investigators said they found out about the weapons while conducting a routine traffic stop earlier in the evening.

Officers said that Daniel Saldana and Juan Espinoza, both 19, reportedly admitted selling marijuana and using the weapons to intimidate.

The rifles are estimated to be worth up to $7,000.

Saldana and Espinoza are in custody. It's not clear yet exactly what kind of charges they will face.
