Stuntman seriously hurt after accident at Ostrich Festival

Stuntman on motorcycle injured

CHANDLER - Police in Chandler have identified the motorcyclist injured during a stunt at the Ostrich Festival.

The driver of the motorcycle is 38-year-old Bryan McLaughlin, from Chandler. He was involved in a serious accident on Sunday afternoon.

The driver of the city-owned vehicle also involved in the collision is 32-year-old Hermelinda Llamas, from Mesa. She is the Chandler Events Coordinator with the City of Chandler.

McLaughlin remains hospitalized with a head injury. Police say he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
