UNDATED (AP) -- Arizona Diamondbacks right fielder Justin Upton has been voted the National League Player of the Month for May.
The 21-year-old Upton hit .373 and posted a .709 slugging percentage with eight doubles, four triples, seven home runs and 21 RBIs during the month.
He also had 15 walks and went 5-for-6 in stolen-base attempts.
Upton led the National League in triples and slugging percentage, and tied for first in hits and runs scored.
Meanwhile, Diamondbacks outfielder Gerardo Parra has been voted the National League Rookie of the Month for May.
In 16 games played, Parra topped all NL rookies with three triples and 16 RBIs.
He added one home run, three doubles and 10 runs scored while hitting .319 with a .493 slugging percentage and a .360 on-base percentage.
The 22-year-old Parra was called up from Double-A Mobile and hit a home run in his first major league at-bat on May 13 against the Cincinnati Reds at Phoenix's Chase Field.
