PHOENIX -- One man was injured after authorities say the vehicle he was driving rolled over after swerving to avoid crashing into another car.

The wreck happened at the intersection of Central and Dunlap avenues Monday evening.

Three vehicles were damaged in the wreck, including two SUVs and a sedan.

Phoenix police say the driver of a car was westbound on Dunlap Avenue and apparently ran a red light.

His car slid, narrowly crashing into a KFC fast-food restaurant.

Officers say the driver told police that his ability to see clearly was hampered by the bright setting sun.

Officers say he may have been driving impaired.

Another vehicle was also damaged trying to avoid the red-light running car.
