New self-select security lanes debut at Sky HarborPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- Sky Harbor International Airport will showcase its new self-select security lanes Thursday morning.
The lanes are supposed to make going through security at the airport a little smoother by splitting travelers into three groups.
There will be specific lines for expert travelers, causal travelers and people who need extra help or who are traveling with children.
The screening procedures are the same in each line.
The lanes are voluntary. Travelers are not required to go into the lane that best described them.
