Rollover blocks 2 lanes of WB I-10 at 43rd Avenue during rush hourPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- The HOV and No. 1 lanes of westbound Interstate 10 were closed for a time Monday morning due to a rollover wreck in the area of 43rd Avenue.
It happened just after 6:30 a.m.
The Department of Public Safety was on the scene to investigate.
While traffic was making it around the wreck, the backup caused by the two blocked lanes was about 2 miles at 7:30 a.m.
The wreck involved just one vehicle -- a pickup truck -- and no injuries were reported.
All of the lanes were reopened to traffic just after 8 a.m.
