War choppers fly low over neighborhood during tributePosted: Updated:
PHOENIX - A couple of war choppers were seen flying in very low altitude over a Valley neighborhood.
According to the Arizona National Guard, the pilots were paying a special tribute to the Adjutant General David P. Rataczak with a helicopter fly-over and a color guard presentation.
Triwest Healthcare Alliance donated $20,000 to the National Guard Family Assistance Fund that helps families of Guard members during deployment.
A witness tells 3TV this took place just after noon on Wednesday for about 15 minutes near Bell Road and 29th Avenue just west of Interstate 17.
The choppers were reportedly flying a north and south pattern over the residential neighborhood.
