Van rolls onto side, hits bicyclist - Only minor injuries were reported after a station wagon T-boned a van, causing it to roll on its side and hit a bicyclist riding by.

PHOENIX -- A van rolled over, hitting a bicyclist in north Phoenix Thursday morning.

It happened shortly before 7:30 a.m. in the area of 36th Street and Shea Boulevard.

According to police, it appears the driver of a station wagon T-boned a van, causing the van to roll on its side. The van then hit a bicyclist riding by.

While the bike was crushed, the rider was able to walk away virtually unhurt. He had minor cuts and bruises and the driver also had minor injuries. Both were taken to the hospital as a precaution.
