SCOTTSDALE -- A robber fired two shots into the ceiling during a bank holdup in north Scottsdale.

Scottsdale police say none of the more than 20 customers and employees inside the Wells Fargo branch located at 15760 N. Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd. was injured.

According to police, the suspect entered the bank at 9:35 a.m. Friday, displayed two handguns and yelled that he was robbing the bank. They say he fired the two shots while demanding money from the tellers.

A bank employee had dialed 911 as the robbery unfolded, but the suspect had fled the bank with an undetermined amount of money and drove off in a car before police arrived.

The suspect was described as white, in his late 20s to 30s, and police were told he was wearing a fake beard, hat, sun glasses and dark clothing.
