Father and son wounded in gas station gunfight

PHOENIX -- Police are investigating a gunfight that has left 2 people wounded.

A father and a son were shot several times at a gas station near 43rd avenue and McDowell. They then fled in their car.

Police say that they pulled over their vehicle in a Church's Chicken parking lot. There were also unwounded people in the vehicle as well.

Police are unsure right now who is a suspect and who is a victim.

Police closed 43rd avenue between Thomas and McDowell to search for bullet casings, which were found along the street.

The father and son are in stable condition at the hospital.
