Several injured in late-night wreck

PHOENIX -- Investigators are still trying to determine what caused a car wreck that sent four people to the hospital and forced road closures overnight.

Jaws of Life used

Two cars collided near 67th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road late Sunday night.

It took rescuers quite some time to untangle the mess. While nobody in either car was ejected, the wreck was so bad that rescuers had to use the Jaws of Life to cut them out of the mangled vehicles.

The airbags in both vehicles did deploy.

Investigators are still working to identify everybody involved.
