CA man presumed to have drowned at Lake HavasuPosted: Updated:
LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. -- A 45-year-old Southern California man is believed to have drowned at Lake Havasu, on the Arizona-California border.
Patricia Carter of Arizona's Mohave County Sheriff's Office says witnesses reported that Anthony Gabriel Apodaca of La Habra, Calif., jumped from a pontoon boat Saturday afternoon and failed to surface.
Water and shoreline searches in the area of Black Meadows Landing have been conducted. But Carter said Monday they had not been successful and that Apodaca is presumed to have drowned.
