Local protest against Israel's assault on Gaza stripPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -Protests are being held all over the world as well as here in the Valley against Israel's air assault on the Gaza strip.
This is the second day of attacks. Each side blames the other for violating an Egyptian-brokered cease fire. Nearly 300 people have been killed and hundreds of others are injured.
Stephanie Jennings, a protester, tells 3TV, "As a U.S. tax-paying citizen I'm opposed to my tax dollars going to this aggression and this carnage of the Palestinian people."
Hospitals in Gaza are stretching to provide care and medical supplies are running thin.
Also, the largest hospital on Israel's southern coast has moved underground for fear of rockets.
