Man shot 4 times in Tempe; suspects still loose

TEMPE -- Tempe police officers are searching for two suspects after a shooting near the intersection of Baseline Road and Hardy Drive Tuesday night.

According to police, a man in his 20s was shot four times after an argument and was transported to the hospital. His condition is unknown.

The suspects are described as hispanic men in their 20s, one wearing a black shirt and white shorts, the other in a white shirt and blue pants.

Police believe the two suspects left in a red SUV with different color door panels.

Police helicopters searched from above while officers set up a perimeter around the shooting scene. Baseline Road remained opened during the search but nearby residential streets and parking lots were shut down for search efforts.
