TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- Two men have been accused of vandalism at Saguaro National Park in Tucson.

Park officials announced Wednesday that Beau Campbell and Colton Salazar will be ordered to appear in a federal court in Tucson.

The men's ages and hometowns aren't immediately available.

Park officials say one saguaro, two barrel cactuses and one palo verde tree were severely damaged on May 23 along the popular Douglas Springs hiking trail.

They are requesting the cost of restoring the damaged resources as restitution.

Officials say it doesn't appear that the two men were involved in a May 11 vandalism at the park that remains under investigation.

Rangers placed motion-sensing cameras at the park after the first vandalism incident and captured images of the two suspects on May 23. The men contacted authorities Tuesday.
