Teen shot after argument with 4 suspects

PHOENIX -- A teen was shot after getting into an argument with four suspects Thursday evening.

According to police, a 17-year-old boy and a 24-year-old woman were standing by the woman's car near 55th Avenue and Indian School Road shortly before 6 p.m. when four black males approached.

According to Phoenix police Officer Luis A. Samudio, the suspects began to argue with the victims and the teen was shot.

Samudio said the suspects fled the scene on foot through a nearby apartment complex.

The teen was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The suspects remain on the loose. They are between the ages of 17 and 18 and all were wearing white T-shirts at the time of the shooting.
