Bisbee teen dies after ejection from truck driven by 15-year-oldPosted: Updated:
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. -- Police say a passenger in a pickup driven by an unlicensed driver died when the vehicle struck several trees on a gravel road west of Klamath Falls.
Sheriff Tim Evinger of Klamath County says 17-year-old Beau Anderson of Bisbee, Ariz., died at the scene late Wednesday following his ejection from the bed.
The sheriff says the truck was driven by a 15-year-old girl believed to have been speeding, but not drinking.
Pickup owner Teancum Clark of Klamath Falls was driving a motorcycle ahead of the truck, leading it to a disabled vehicle they had used earlier. The 20-year-old was cited for allowing an unlicensed driver to operate the vehicle.
The 15-year-old driver and two other teens were treated at a hospital and released.
