LAKE HAVASU CITY -- Mohave County medical examiners are attempting to identify the remains of a woman found in a Lake Havasu City wash Monday afternoon.
Authorities say the body may be linked to the disappearance of a Desert Hills woman.
A Mohave County Search and Rescue team discovered the woman's body while searching Lake Havasu City culverts and washes for 53-year-old Glenda D. Lasister.
She was last seen July 28.
The search and rescue team notified Lake Havasu City Police Department officials who responded to the scene. Lake Havasu Fire Department was called to help remove the body from the steep wash.
Lake Havasu City Police Sgt. Troy Stirling said the identification of the remains is pending.
