Weather officials had said the storm could have produced damaging winds of more than 60 mph, and that dense, blowing dust was possible.

The warnings expired at 7:15 p.m. after a strong storm failed to materialize.

Weather officials say a chance of thunderstorms will continue throughout the evening and that winds could gust between 25 and 40 mph.
