Arizona House OKs foreclosure right for tenantsPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- Arizona renters could soon have a new right to advance notice involving foreclosures of single-family homes.
A bill approved by the House and sent to the Senate Thursday would require that a notice of a sale be mailed to the property in advance.
The bill's sponsor, Republican Rep. Sam Crump of Anthem, has cited instances in which renters were caught off guard because nobody told them that homes being rented were in foreclosure proceedings.
