ASU named to Green Rating Honor Roll

TEMPE -- Arizona State University has been named one of the most environmentally friendly colleges in the country.

ASU and 10 other schools were named to the first Green Rating Honor Roll.

Harvard and Yale also made the list.

The Princeton Review judged schools on things like energy use, recycling and environmental academic offerings.

ASU made the list by operating the Global Institute of Sustainability, making buildings energy efficient, and giving students discount bus passes and free shuttle rides to class.
